Here, with my psyche

Where darkness is complete

My urges and restraint

Do viciously compete

The things that I yearn for

Society detests

So I fight against them

Though desire never rests

I'm constantly in need

Of sweet, forbidden fruit

The hunger never quenched

The urges not pursued

So long it's been this way

My limit's almost reached

My control is slipping

And soon there'll be a breach

And once I cross that line

There'll be no turning back

There'll be no undoing

No conscious to attack

I tremble with my need

My body wet with sweat

I'm hanging by a thread

That hasn't broken…yet
