Three Days Till the Finale…
“Hey lover.” Sylvia cooed as she wrapped her arms around her lover. Tali leaned back into the embrace. “You sure you want to come with me today? It will be boring watching them set up the stage.” She asked.
“Of course. Nothing is
boring if I’m with you.” Tali
kissed her. ‘It also gives me
an opportunity to complete step three.’
A wicked smile graced her face as she followed her lover out the door.
Meanwhile at the Stadium…
“No, move the trees over there and the ‘river’ over there.” Jo called out to her crew. Joce was spending the day with Liza, so that left Jo to take care of set up on her own. Em was at the bookstore helping Rah and Rik. Erin was at the studio’s print shop working on the programs and posters for the show. Sam was kind enough to offer her assistance to Jo for the set up process.
“Hey Jo, where do you want the statue of Artemis put?” Sam called. Jo pointed to the designated spot and turned back to her task. Jo approached Sam and nearly scared the life out of her. “Don’t sneak up on me like that.” Sam chuckled. Jo chuckled.
“You up for some food?” Sam nodded and the two left. On their way out, Jo spotted Sylvia and waved her over. Tali noticed Jo and ducked in her seat. “We’re going to get some food. We’ll be back in a few.” Jo explained to her secretary. Sylvia nodded and watched as Jo left. Tali soon joined her and the pair entered the stadium.
“Hey babe, is it okay if I go look around the stage. I’ve never been on one so big.” Sylvia giggled and consented. Tali was off in a flash. She took a few moments to make sure that no one was around. Reaching into her pack, she withdrew an odd shaped package. Checking once more to be sure she was alone, she went to work. About ten minutes later she was finished and left the stage.
Sylvia was at her makeshift desk taking care of a call when Tali walked up. She waved her over and offered her a chair. Tali accepted the seat and made herself comfortable. Sylvia ended the call and turned to her lover: “What did you think of the stage?” She questioned.
“It was spectacular. I’m sure the show will be a real blast.” Tali commented.
“I hope so. So T, what
do you want to do today?”
“Well, I was hoping we could have dinner together and just relax this
evening. I wanted to do a little
shopping if that’s okay.”
“Of course. I’ll be done here about five, so why don’t you meet me here and we can go to dinner. I know just the place.” Tali agreed and left the studio. On her way to the car, she saw Jo and a rather tall woman heading toward the stadium. She quickly ducked behind another car and secretly watched her prey disappear inside. She ran to the car and sped off.
‘Now to do me shopping.’ She thought as she drove away. Jo and Sam spent the rest of the day making sure the stage was properly set up.
“Hey Jo, can I talk to you for a minute?” Sam called. Jo nodded and went over to her friend.
“What’s up?”
“I just wanted to tell you that Rinny and I have everything taken
care of for the ceremony. I
scheduled the appointment for the tuxedo fittings tomorrow.”
“Great. Should I meet you
there or what?”
“Nah, I’ll swing by and pick you up. Liza said she’d pick Rik up and we’ll all meet at the shop. Oh, and Rik wanted me to tell you that she already picked up the rings.” Sam explained.
“Perfect. That gives me a week after the final show to make sure everything is perfect for the big day.” Jo paused. “Thank you my friend.” Giving Sam a hug, she went back to working on the stage. She was almost done when Sylvia walked up.
“Ms. Knyte, I have Steve on the phone for you. He says it’s urgent.” She said, handing Jo the phone.
“What’s up little bro?”
“Sis, thank goodness I got you. I just got a fax from Liza about Tali. You need to read this stuff. I’ll fax it to you office at home. Be careful.” Jo thanked him and hung up.
“Hey Sam, let’s finish up. I have some things at home I need to take care of.” Sam waved a thumbs-up to her friend and soon they were done. Jo said goodbye and headed home. She failed to notice the car following her. She parked the car and headed inside, shrugging off the odd feeling in her gut.
“Honey? Em, are you here?” She called as she entered the living room. “Resa? Anyone?” She moved from room to room. Finding no one inside, she decided to check out back. Resa was sitting on the porch swing on the patio. “Bonsoir.”
“Bonsoir, ma petite cherie. How
was your day?”
“Busy, but we finally got the stage set up completed.
How about you?”
“Relaxing, but thought-filled. Steve called and told me of the papers he was faxing. I hope you don’t mind, but I had my assistant translate them for me.” Resa explained.
“Not at all. Anything interesting?” Jo inquired.
“Come sit and I shall tell you what I have learned.” Jo sat next to her friend and waited. “It seems that Tali has grown since we last saw her. She has gone through a great deal of musical and vocal training. Also, she has had cosmetic surgery to alter her looks. There is no mention of her new looks though, unfortunately. Interestingly enough, she gave an interview to a small time magazine back in Auckland. No pictures were taken that showed her face though. She said she wanted her identity secret until she made her debut. She didn’t say much, only that one day she hoped to be as great as you, perhaps even better. The reporter laughed and gave her the title of “Mistress of Twilight”. The reporter said that it was appropriate for her if she thought of becoming more than you are.” Resa took a sip of her tea.
“I never really understood why she was so upset with me. I told her that all she needed was a little work and I would produce her record.” Jo was truly puzzled even now.
“That’s because you didn’t see the underlying reason.”
“What’s that?”
“I shouldn’t say anything. This is something she must tell you. I only hope she has learned that revenge is not the answer. I need to make a couple of calls, will you excuse me?” Resa asked.
“Of course. Do you know where Em is?” Just as soon as the question was asked, Em walked out onto the porch. Jo immediately went to her side. “I missed you. How was your day?” Resa slipped back into the house unnoticed, leaving the couple alone.
“It was good. Business at the store is booming. I did have one interesting moment though.” Em explained as she led her love inside. She directed them into the kitchen.
“Really? What happened?” Jo asked as she searched through the fridge and cupboards.
“Well, this woman came in asking about you actually.” Em began, as she helped gather the items needed for dinner. She loved it when her lover cooked.
“About me, at a bookstore? That’s a bit odd, don’t you think?” Jo questioned as she began cooking.
“Not really, we do sell more than books, you know. Anywhos, she bought every magazine, book, CD, etc that had to do with you. She was a real looker too.” Em giggled.
“Really, that’s good to see I still have avid fans. That is other than you, of course. What did she look like?”
“She was tall, but a little shorter than you. She had reddish-brown hair, shoulder length. She was wearing jeans and a turtleneck shirt. That wasn’t what caught my eye though. Her eyes are what got my attention; they shined almost like gold. It was truly a sight.” Em explained.
“Hmm. That is
interesting.” Jo stopped what
she was doing for a moment. She had
a look of deep thought. ‘That
almost sounds like… Nah, can’t be.’
Shaking her head, she returned to dinner.
Meanwhile in Her Office…
“Bonsoir. Saziere
residence.”
“Bonsoir, ma petite. Comment
ca va?”
“Je suis d’accord. Et-toi?”
“Moi aussi. I was just calling to make sure you were set for your flight. I want you to be my wedding present for Jo and Em.” Resa inquired.
“Oui. I am packed. I shall arrive on Friday.
I will expect that you will be picking me up?”
“Oui. I hope Jo is not
upset when I properly introduce you. I
hope maybe you two can fill the hole in each other’s lives.
I shall see you then. Au
Revoir, Katarina.” Resa ended
her call and dialed again. “Yes,
hello. This is Lady Resa Saziere.
I am calling to confirm my reservations for Friday.”
A couple minutes passed. “Merci
beaucoup.” She hung up the
phone and proceeded to make her way to the kitchen.
Back in the Kitchen…
“Love, could you hand me the potholders?”
“Here you go.” Em went to the fridge to get drinks. Resa entered the kitchen a moment later. She bumped into the table on her way in. Jo was immediately at her side. Sliding her arm around Resa’s waist, she helped her to a seat. “Sorry Resa, I forgot..”
“C’est il n’y a pas de qua.” (It is nothing) Resa said. “You are not used to having me about your home. Do not feel bad for it.” Everyone sat down to dinner and began a light conversation. Resa told stories of Jo when she was young and about the tricks Chris and she would play on everyone. Em was loving seeing the blush get brighter and brighter on her love’s face as she listened to one tale after another.
The phone rang, interrupting the group. Em went to answer it. “Knyte residence.”
“Em, sorry to bother you, but I wanted to let you know that I’ll
be by about ten tomorrow. Joce and
Erin will meet us there. Also, I
needed to verify the flowers with you.”
“Rah, it’s no problem. I’ll
be ready. Yes, the list I sent you
is the final decision. I’ll talk
to you tomorrow. Bye.”
Em hung up and rejoined her dinner companions. “Resa, did you confirm your reservations?”
“Of course. I took care of
everything.”
“I’d rather you stay here with us.” Jo sighed.
“I know. This way I can keep your wedding present a secret from you though. I hope you will like my surprise.” Resa explained.
“I’m sure we will.” Em
answered. The group spent the later
part of the evening reminiscing on times past.
**************
Sylvia opened the door about a
foot, standing there in a towel, trying to dry her hair, looking irritated that
she'd been interrupted. Tali moved
closer and pulled her lover close. The
two stood holding each other tight. Leaning
forward Tali kissed her lips softly. She
felt Sylvia’s bottom lip quivering, and was surprised at how deep the sensual
contact became. She trailed kisses
over her nose, forehead, eyelids, cheeks and then finally again on her soft
lips.
Tali ran her hands over her arms and across her chest, just above her
breasts. Sylvia’s towel loosened and fell to the floor in a damp
heap. Turning her face into her lover’s neck, she can't resist and pressed her
lips against the soft skin.
Sylvia’s arms moved up around Tali’s neck and held her in place. A
soft sigh escaped her lips as Tali moved down her neck, and then further down to
her chest. She lifted her head and looked into her lover’s eyes as she
rubbed her thumbs over erect nipples. "I want you." Tali
whispered, then claimed Sylvia’s lips firmly with her own.
Tali forced her tongue between her lover’s lips.
Sylvia responded heatedly, their tongues coming together, tasting each
other and exploring. Tali’s hands remained on her breasts, massaging the
aching nipples. Feeling her lover’s hips pressing forward, she breaks the kiss
and stares into her eyes, which are glazed with desire.
Sylvia is breathless and her racing heartbeat is felt through her whole
body. Tali’s hands worked
their way lower, her fingertips caressed smooth inner thighs, and, moving upward
slightly, she felt wetness coating your pussy lips.
"I love you." Sylvia whispered, voice hoarse and
trembling. Tali responded by gently
pushing her lover onto the bed. She
stood against the bed, staring down at Sylvia, drinking in the sight as she
removed her own clothes. Once naked
she climbed onto the bed, between her thighs, and knelt there.
Reaching out she ran her hands down across the soft flesh of Sylvia’s
belly and over her thighs. Leaning
forward, she flicked erect nipples with her tongue. Sylvia released a low moan.
Tali slipped her hand down over and between silky thighs, sliding her
fingertips up and down slippery lips. She
watched as her lover’s hips jerked up involuntarily when her fingertip ran
over the hard clit. Moving down
slowly, following her hand with lips, Tali placed her hands on Sylvia’s thighs
as her tongue moved slowly, tasting the soft, wet flesh.
The sweet, exotic scent overwhelmed her senses, driving her mad.
Sylvia’s whole body began to shake as Tali’s tongue pressed against
her entrance. Tali wiggled her
tongue, pressing inside the hot tunnel, releasing a flood of juices and filled
her mouth with sweetness. She thrust her tongue in and out, feeling muscles
contracting and her lover’s hips moving in time.
Pulling her tongue out, she ran her tongue up and down between the slick folds,
making only brief contact with the quivering clit. Tali brought her fingers up, slowing sinking two fingers deep
inside. Sylvia gasped, urging her
on, her hips lifted, and Tali started pumping her fingers in and out slowly.
She searched out her lover’s clit with her tongue.
Flicking feather light strokes against it, she thrust her fingers harder
and faster, pulling the clit between her lips and sucking gently at the same
time. Sylvia’s muscles gripped tighter as Tali worked another
finger in. Her whole body tightened
and her hips jerked violently, crushing her sex into Tali’s face.
Tali looked up and their eyes met. Sylvia
plunged over the edge, giving a startled, strangled yelp.
“TTTTTTTTTT.” Broke forth from Sylvia’s lips as orgasm
crashed through her body. Tali
released her swollen clit and moved down, catching as much of the sweet juices
as she could. When the last
aftershocks finally passed, she moved to lie on top of Sylvia, kissing her
mouth, holding tightly. She rolled them onto their sides.
Both women fell into slumber.
Awaking a short while later, Sylvia found herself alone in bed.
Hearing the shower, she rose and went into the bathroom.
She joined her lover in the shower.
Tali turned and gave her a kiss. The
two finished their shower and returned to the bedroom.
Tali got dressed and went into the living room.
“Where you going, hon?” Sylvia
asked.
“Just to pick up the stuff I bought earlier.
I need to do a little more shopping.
I’ll see you tonight and we can go to the concert together.” Tali
explained. Giving her lover a kiss,
she left the apartment. Sylvia was
left wondering what could be so important that it couldn’t wait, but shrugged
it off.

Tour Finale… Long Live the Warrior Princess…
“Fans and friends put your hands together as we begin the finale to Knyte’s Vision!!!” Joce’s voice rang out over the screaming crowd. Jo paced backstage in her costume. She kept pulling at the leather outfit and adjusting her wig. ‘What we do for love.’ She sighed and approached the entrance ramp. Everything went black and silence fell over the crowd.
The musical theme for Xena began playing and the lights popped on. First the individual members of the band, then with a recorded ‘Lucy Lawless Xena war cry’, Jo ran out on stage. Doing a flip, she landed center stage. With a fling of her wrist, she sent the copy chakram flying out into the crowd. Screams erupted from the audience as Jo’s voice came over the speakers: “Forever lives the Warrior Princess! Let’s kick it.” The music began and her voice hit the air.
The music was pumping. Jo
once more spoke to the crowd. “This
next song I dedicate to Xena and Gabrielle.
Also to Lucy and Renee who gave them life.”
The music slowed and began to flow over the audience.
Hold me close
Baby please
Tell me anything
But that you’re gonna leave
As I kiss this falling tear
I promise you I will be here
'Til the stars fall from the sky
'Til I find a reason why
And darling as the years go by
'Til there’s no tears left to cry
'Til the angels close my eyes
And even if we’re worlds apart
I'll find my way back to you by heart
When you go
I’ll stop the clock
I won’t ever
Let this moment stop
Time is stealin’ you from me
But it can never take this memory
'Til the stars fall from the sky
'Til I find a reason why
And darling as the years go by
'Til there’s no tears left to cry
'Til the angels close my eyes
And even if we’re worlds apart
I'll find my way back to you by heart
'Til the stars fall from the sky
'Til I find a reason why
And darling as the years go by
'Til there’s no tears left to cry
'Til the angels close my eyes
And even if we’re worlds apart
I'll find my way back to you by heart
Jo’s
voice slowly faded away. Turning to
her band, she signaled for the big finale.
Letting loose with her version of Xena’s battle cry, she did a flip,
landing precisely on target. A
sudden flash of light filled the stadium and a loud boom resounded.
A woman stood near the stage and watched as bits of debris rained down
upon the crowd. People were
screaming and running in every direction. Stage
crewmembers pulled the band from the stage.
Sam rushed onto the stage and pushed through the billowing smoke in
search of Jo. Em watched helplessly
as Sam disappeared into the dense blanket of smoke.
After what seemed like forever, actually only a few moments, Sam emerged
with an unconscious Jo cradled in her arms.
The tall woman rushed over to the awaiting paramedics and laid her
precious cargo on the stretcher. Everyone
was taken to the hospital along with several fans from the first few rows of the
stadium. It was going to be a long
night.
The woman who had watched the horror unfold silently slipped away
unnoticed. Sylvia, having seen
everything, followed the ambulances to the hospital.
After being assured that everyone was okay, she left.
Tali was nowhere to be found when she arrived home.
She did, however, find a note: “My dear Sylvia, thank you for
everything. You have helped me move
closer to attaining my goal. I shall never forget you and what you have done.
Well, the Twilight has come and I must go.
I hope to see you again soon. Adieu
–T.”
The note puzzled Sylvia. Reading
it over and over, her heart began to break.
‘I love you T.’
