"Don't DO That To Me!"
Xena and Gabrielle set up camp. Xena went hunting and when she returned, Gabrielle was preparing some veggies she had gathered.
As Xena plucked the wild fowl, she heard sniffling. "Gabrielle?"
The Bard lifted a face streaming with tears. Xena was at her side in an instant.
"Sweetheart? What's the matter!"
"Nothing, I'm peeling onions."

Xena
blinked in the sewer's darkness.
"Hades?", she asked.
Three pair of red eyes blinked cautiously. It was Cerebus, Hades'
servant.
"Lord Hades--", one voice spoke.
"--is not--", a second voice came in without missing a beat.
"--here.", the third hissed.
Xena sat up quickly.
"Where's Gabrielle?"
"Gabrielle--"
"--has joined--"
"--the Sabbat."
Xena's heart sank.

Words
In my world you arrived
You choose to stay by my side
Wondering why?
My pain you don't deny
Yet your words sooth me
Your concern embraces me
With a soft sweet voice
You tell me, I'm not alone
That right you will stay
Till the pain goes away
And for evermore
Never again alone

The Rehearsal
"Xena, I love you
oh Hades
Xena, I love you!"
Gabrielle paced by the campfire rehearsing her declaration of love to the Warrior.
"What are you doing"? Xena emerged from the bushes.
"Um, rehearsing a new scroll." Gabrielle lied.
"Let me write the next line...."
Xena swept the bard into a passionate kiss.

Flames
licking at thatched roofs.
Women and children crying.
Men screaming as they lay dying.
Blood pooling on dusty earth.
I sit up, heart pounding, pulse racing.
She sleeps, golden hair gleaming in the light of glowing embers.
A tear wanders down my cheek. I turn away and close my eyes.
The horror, the horror.

Two Hour Ride
Xena read Gabrielle's message. "Come quickly. Urgent."
The bard waited in the forest overlooking the road. She had calculated the distance and time carefully. The anxious warrior arrived at dusk smelling of horse and saddle leather, a sheen of sweat on her skin.
Exactly the way Gabrielle wanted her.

"Sighs"
Xena and Gabrielle sit together, relaxing by the fire. Xena turns to her bard.
"I really love your sighs."
"My sais?" Gabrielle slips one from her boot. "They *are* rather nice..."
"No, Gabrielle..." Xena gathers Gabrielle up for a passionate kiss, and feels the small blond melt in her embrace. "Yeah... these kinds of sighs."

"I
can't believe you did that again!" Gabrielle exclaimed covering her naked
torso with her arms crossed in front. "What warlord did you tie up with my
shirt this time Xena?!"
"Don't look at me!"
Suddenly, they heard a clanging noise. "Wow Gabby, you look great!"
Joxer
smiled, twirling her top playfully in the air.

Beneath a dense green canopy, rain-like, clear bead necklaces fell upon Gabrielle's upturned face.
A welcome contrast to the bite of the rain was the warmth and weight of long, strong fingers entwined around her own - as a pair they were possessor and possessed, sun and moon, and both women content with the arrangement.

DO
IT LIKE I TOLD YOU TO, XENA!
"Damn, Xena, you were supposed to jump Over that fire!"
"I have many skills."
"So! Then why didn't you hit that warlord with the chakram, instead of
hitting the villager?"
"You don't wanna make me mad, do you?"
"Well, you don't wanna make me mad, either! Make me mad and I'll turn off
the
PlayStation!!"
